Our Daycare

We lovingly serve children from 6 weeks through school age, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and before- and after-school children. Our environment is safe, structured, and joy-filled, designed to support each child’s emotional, physical, social, and developmental growth. Every child is seen, valued, and encouraged in a happy and engaging learning atmosphere.

Position Summary

The Infant Assistant Teacher supports the Lead Infant Teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants ages 6 weeks to 15 months. This role focuses on care routines, bonding, and early developmental support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily infant care routines, including feeding, diapering, naps, and soothing
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary infant classroom
  • Support developmental activities such as tummy time, sensory play, and early motor skill development
  • Observe and report infants’ needs, behaviors, and developmental milestones to the Lead Teacher
  • Follow all health, safety, and EEC regulations
  • Build trusting, loving relationships with infants
  • Communicate respectfully with families as directed
  • Support daily schedules and classroom transitions

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Experience working with infants preferred
  • CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to lift, carry, and care for infants
  • Patient, nurturing, and dependable

Position Summary

The Infant Lead Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing a nurturing, structured, and developmentally appropriate program for infants while ensuring compliance with EEC regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support infant development
  • Oversee daily care routines and classroom flow
  • Maintain accurate records, including daily sheets, incident reports, and attendance
  • Ensure health, safety, and cleanliness standards are consistently met
  • Supervise and mentor Infant Assistant Teachers
  • Communicate professionally with families regarding child progress and development
  • Observe, document, and assess infant development
  • Model best practices in infant care and early childhood education

Qualifications

  • EEC Infant Teacher certification, or eligibility to obtain
  • Experience in infant care and classroom leadership
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Loving, calm, and dependable leadership style

Position Summary

The Toddler Assistant Teacher supports the Lead Toddler Teacher in providing a structured, engaging, and nurturing environment for toddlers ages 15 months to 2.9 years.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily routines, including meals, diapering or potty training, and rest time
  • Support learning through play and exploration
  • Help manage classroom transitions and behavior guidance
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
  • Ensure safety and proper supervision at all times
  • Support lesson activities planned by the Lead Teacher
  • Encourage independence and positive social skills
  • Communicate observations or concerns to the Lead Teacher

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with toddlers preferred
  • CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain
  • Energetic, patient, and nurturing disposition
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Position Summary

The Toddler Lead Teacher plans and leads a developmentally appropriate program that supports toddlers’ social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth while maintaining a safe and structured classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement daily lesson plans and developmentally appropriate activities
  • Support language development, motor skills, and early learning
  • Lead potty-training routines and provide consistent behavior guidance
  • Maintain classroom structure, routines, and daily schedules
  • Observe, document, and assess toddler development
  • Communicate regularly and professionally with families
  • Supervise and support Toddler Assistant Teachers
  • Ensure compliance with EEC standards and daycare policies

Qualifications

  • EEC Toddler Teacher certification, or eligibility to obtain
  • Experience leading a toddler classroom
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Passion for early childhood education and child development

Regulating Agency: Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC)


Position Summary

An EEC Professional is responsible for providing safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate care and education for infants and toddlers in compliance with Massachusetts EEC regulations. This role supports children’s physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development while maintaining a loving and structured learning environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the health, safety, and supervision of children at all times
  • Implement developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) aligned with EEC standards
  • Support daily routines, including meals, diapering or potty training, naps, and classroom transitions
  • Observe, document, and report children’s development and behavior
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom environment
  • Follow all EEC policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Communicate professionally and respectfully with families
  • Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and required professional development
  • Model positive behavior, patience, and nurturing care
  • Work collaboratively with the Director, Lead Teachers, and Assistant Teachers

Infant Focus (If Applicable)

  • Feeding, diapering, soothing, and bonding with infants
  • Supporting early motor, sensory, and emotional development
  • Maintaining accurate infant records and daily care sheets

Toddler Focus (If Applicable)

  • Supporting language development, independence, and social skills
  • Assisting with potty training and behavior guidance
  • Encouraging learning through structured and exploratory play

Qualifications

  • Must meet Massachusetts EEC Professional qualifications for the assigned role (Assistant, Teacher, or Lead Teacher)
  • High school diploma or equivalent (minimum requirement)
  • CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain
  • Experience working with infants and/or toddlers preferred
  • Ability to lift, bend, stand, and actively engage with children
  • Reliable, patient, nurturing, and professional demeanor
